lazy tuesday

Lazy? Not really. All we basically did today was not go to the new house on Lindelaan, except to collect the mail. What we did do was sort stuff out. Stuff that is "missable" (for lack of a better term) in the old house, that can be boxed up. Like books. John has a nice collection of books. They are now in special boxes ("boekendoos", plural "boekendozen"). The difference - if you want to know - between regular "verhuisdozen" and the boekendozen is that you don't pack up too many books in boekendozen. Books tend to be heavy, and if you pack up a regular verhuisdoos you'll break your back while carrying them, or attempt to. Verhuisdozen are less than double the size of boekendozen.

For those who know the study in the "old" house, get stunned by the stack of boxes containing books. These boxes are now where the books used to be. Note that one of John's hobbies is ironing. Difficult to part with the ironing board...
